Burlap & Bean

453697201Friends of ours opened their own coffeehouse, Burlap & Bean, a few years ago in Newtown Square, Pa.

I thought it would be fun to write and distribute a press release to see if I could get them some free publicity. I love writing releases, and hadn’t done one in a while. 103580008

I was thrilled when three of the local papers picked up the story. And the shop owners were, of course, very excited about it, too.

I am including the initial press release here, and the three articles it spawned. And another release I wrote to garner additional attention.

They have done an amazing job with their coffeehouse. It has blossomed into a wonderful place, where they frequently host popular musical acts, local crafts and artistry.
